Dear Parents and Caregivers
Yesterday you received your child’s end-of-year report. The report outlines the progress your child has made over the 2024 academic year and their achievement levels. At the bottom of the report for our Year 0-5 learners, we have shared which habitat they are in for 2025 and the name of their teacher.
We have thought long and hard about class placements for next year, using the following criteria in priority order:
- Your child’s learning strengths and needs.
- Your child’s maturity level and behaviour patterns.
- Friendships that have existed this year.
I am pleased to announce the following structure for 2025:

The school office will be open from Monday 20th of January from 9am – 3pm for enrolments and any queries you may have.
Teachers will be in contact with you at the end of January to arrange an appointment time for a whānau map meeting on the 29th of January 2025. This will allow you to meet your child’s teacher and for them to get to know your child as a learner and you as a whānau. All learners will return for the first full day on Thursday 30th of January 2025. All learners must be in our school uniform on this day.
Thank you for all you have done this year to support your children and the school. I look forward to working with you and your children in 2025 as we build on the many successes we have had this year.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Be safe and enjoy your time with your family and friends. ☺
